Core.Storage

Core.Storage provides product-neutral mechanics for immutable stored objects:

• opaque object names and provider-issued references;
• streaming, create-only writes and authorized reads;
• independent byte count and SHA-256 integrity facts;
• provider-tag and transfer-mode evidence;
• mandatory semantic evaluation for create-only, encryption-reference, and provider-retention requirements; and
• stable, secret-safe failure categories plus an executable provider-conformance suite.

Products continue to own document aggregates and versions, persistence, ingest and business lifecycle, current-version pointers, provider assignments, retention and legal-hold policy, authorization, audit vocabulary, concrete provider adapters, buckets, and migrations.

The included LocalObjectStorageProvider is for development and conformance only. It is not a production-provider selection and fails closed for encryption and provider-retention semantics it cannot satisfy.

See Workspace ADR-0047 and the active Document and Blob Storage Standard before adopting this package. A product-owned provider fixture should run StorageProviderConformanceSuite against the exact assigned provider behavior; passing the local fixture does not establish cloud-provider conformance.
